  2. OK - now I'm really glad I voted for him. There's been two performances he's done after AI that I've seen on this site - in both, he surpassed what he did on AI.

  3. His own acoustic version is even better than the original song with all those other instruments. I love how Lee just strips down all of these songs and makes them so simple sounding, yet it makes them a million times more amazing. Can't wait for his album!

  7. AMAZING! That's the Lee we all know and love. :)

I wish he would've gotten a chance to sing this version of "Beautiful Day" on the finale instead of the karaoke arrangement they had him do. It's funny how he had this brilliant take on the song sitting in his back pocket for the morning after he won: I could imagine him backstage "secretly" making up and perfecting (in typical Lee style ;P) *his* version of this song either from the get-go when they announced the song to him or after the finale. Maybe the producers wouldn't let him do such a subtle version of the song because they wanted to give a feeling of *BANG!* to the final songs to be released, but you can't make Lee into an Adam-Lambert-big-performance-and-drama kind of act: Lee is Lee because of his out of this world voice, genuineness, and humility. Lee's good qualities are hidden when put with such a huge shabang orchestral arrangement and singing a song we've heard 9872387 times 10 years ago that we are now to all numb to the emotional implications of the lyrics. I'm SO HAPPY he won despite the song/arrangement he was given and this arrangement proves how Lee has the power to transform a dull, cheesy song into a fantastic, Lee-ified one. :D

  11. Why is this not the studio version? I bought what was on iTunes, but this is much much better, and just a cooler sound. Keep it up!

  13. I agree with above comment in that he should have been allowed to sing this version of the song. Lee is great and I love his Slumberland CD. It truly showcases his writing ability and talent. I wish him all the success in the world. I hope those who voted for him will continue to support him in a big way.

  14. Excellent, Lee!

We want the original Lee music, not the Hollywood Lee or LA Lee, but the authentic Chicago Lee.

Imo, Lee should stay back in Chicago to do his music as Chicago is all about music, a haven for music.

Hollywood and LA are all about glam and I don't think is his cup of tea.
Imo, If Lee is in LA or Hollywood, he cannot be himself anymore. He will be like a puppet-singer, told to "do this do that", "we want it like this like that", "you have to do like this like that","we like it this way that way", and the Lee that we love will be lost.

Lee, we like the Chicago Lee. Hope you don't become the Hollywood Lee.

Just you and your guitar and vocal will be heaven for your fans, no need dramatic or frills. Think about it.

    Truthfully yours,
    Lee Fan

  16. Beautifully amazing performance Lee. I have watched this quite a few times. Love him and so glad he won. Please don't let the new major label suck out all that your fans love about you. I know there will be compromises but please stay true to yourself. Your pre idol cd's are truly quite a work of art and I am so glad to own both. Love to you and I am so looking forward to buying your music for years to come.

  21. Would LOVE to download this version, but haven't found it anywhere, except one site that would only let me download it, along with a ton of malware/spyware stuff along with it, and go through 30 minutes of marketing crapola. please please post a downloadable version of this somewhere?
